Using points-based scoring, each week points are accumulated by the starting players in each team's starting lineup. The specific stat categories and points per category used are defined in your league's specifications.
To determine league standings, all teams in your league are sorted by each team's total points, where the team with the most points is first and the team with the fewest points is last. Points are accumulated from week to week, and standings are updated accordingly.
Head-to-Head Scoring
Using head-to-head scoring, each week each team in your league faces another team in your league and this is the "head-to-head" matchup. Based on the points accumulated by the starting lineups on team 1 of the matchup versus the points accumulated by the starting lineup on team 2 of the matchup, a winner and a loser of the matchup is determined. In the event the teams accumulate the exact same score, tiebreaker methods are available or the league can choose to allow ties. Standings are determined by league settings which allow up to four criteria categories to be used. These categories include:
Overall Winning Percentage
Division Winning Percentage
Total Points Scored, Season To Date
Total Points Scored, Last Period
Total Points Against, Season To Date
Head To Head Games Played
Head To Head Total Points
Head-to-Head Double Header Scoring
This option is similar to standard head-to-head scoring with one additional matchup each week. Standard head to head leagues will only have one matchup per week, whereas double header leagues have two matchups each week. Team owners can select different starting lineups for each matchup in each week as well. Tiebreakers and Standings both function the same way as standard head-to-head leagues.
