| McGahee acquired for draft picks |

The News
|
| The Ravens have acquired running back Willis McGahee from the Bills in exchange for a package of draft picks, according to ESPN.com. The deal will reportedly send McGahee to Baltimore for the Ravens' third- and seventh-round picks this April and Baltimore's third-round pick in 2008. |

Our View
|
| With Jamal Lewis out of the picture the Ravens needed a back, and the Bills were aggressively shopping McGahee. With the move they get a back who is two years younger and has almost 1,000 fewer NFL carries; however, with McGahee set to become a free agent following the 2007 season and the Ravens not exactly flush with cap space, three picks seems like a relatively steep price to pay. |
