Bankster’s NBA 3-Point Play – March 11, 2019

Fanball’s NBA 3 Point Play

Powered by Bankster DFS

Did you know that on even a six game NBA slate, there are approximately 250 BILLION lineup combinations you can make? To be able to hit on the 1 lineup out of those combinations is harder than winning the lottery. A reduced player pool, though, can give you a significant advantage by reducing the possible lineup combinations you can make. If we limit our choices to only 5 players per position, you now have 400,000 possible lineup combinations you can make (pricing helps reduce this number even lower). Sure, that’s still a lot of lineup choices but it’s only .00016% of the total possible lineup combinations everyone else is working with. That is a SIGNIFICANT advantage for you if you’re choosing from a strong reduced player pool. That’s where we come in to help.

Bankster DFS, The Home of the Reduced Player Pool, has teamed up with Fanball to give you a daily sneak peak of three of the plays we have included in our Bankster DFS reduced player pool. We aren’t lineup sellers; we write full articles that explain which players we like, why we like those players, and how we like to build our teams. We are a learning site more than anything, and you can see that in heavy member interaction on our various Slack Chat channels (we have one for every sport that we cover – NBA, AAF, NFL, NHL, MLB, EPL, PGA, MMA, CBB, WWE, sports betting, and Best Ball 10’s). You can get the rest of our reduced player pool, our daily articles, our members only slack chat, and Fanball exclusives with a Bankster DFS membership. That membership costs only $2.99/wk and you get everything mentioned above with it; 10% of all membership fees are donated to Donors Choose (a site that funds projects for teachers and their classrooms). Let’s look at the 3 point plays for Monday, March 11…

From the Corner: Rudy Gobert (UTA – C – $8400)

From the mouth of Zac Green (@okiecowpoke14), “He averages 43 fantasy points per game on them. He’s had a Double double in all 3 games they’ve played. OKC does not play well against Utah.” This from the mouth of a diehard Thunder fan. With the center position lacking at the top, it’s not a bad idea to grab one (or two, spoiler) of the top guys to win that position and search for some value elsewhere. Gobert has 50 point upside in this matchup.

From the Wing: Andre Drummond (DET – C – $9900)

From the mouth of Derrick Mcgough (@mcgoughderrick), “he may go overlooked but he has a double double in each of his last 18 games. While he may be on a back to back, yesterday’s game was earlier in the day and he only played 29 minutes.” This is the second half of our big boy center stack. With Gobert and Drummond, you’re looking at a 40 point/30 rebound floor with a ton of upside. You play your bigs against the Nets, and they don’t get much bigger than Drummond.

From Way Downtown: Ish Smith (DET – PG – $3300)

From the mouth of Phil Beneteau (@fantasyphilled), “He has played 19 minutes in 9 of his last 10 games and has averaged 26.4 FanBall points over his last five. The Nets are giving up 112.4 points against this season and this is also a spot where we will see a nice pace boost for the Pistons. Smith is a multi stat producer which will be great in this fast paced environment. I’m calling a 5 rebound, 6 assist, and 10 point game which would give you a 25.25 FanBall point night. Good for a 7.65x return!” Phil was dead on with Elf’s triple double last night so I don’t doubt his stat calling ability. Either way, Ish has 7x potential for sure tonight.

On the Bench (Fade of the Day): Paul George (OKC – SF – $10900)

From the mouth of Derrick Mcgough (@mcgoughderrick), “he has not played well since returning from injury. Whether it’s lost rhythm or just not being fully healthy he’s just not right. It’s a small sample, 3 games, but that he’s failed to hit even 40 points in two of those three is concerning.” Adding to the concern is that we are going to need over 50 fantasy points for George to hit value and he’s just not there right now. A matchup against Utah isn’t favorable either, and we’d rather you spend your money elsewhere as there are a lot of upper mid-tier guys we’d rather spend on than going Stars and Scrubs with George as a foundation.

Don’t forget that you can access the rest of our Reduced Player Pool as a Bankster DFS member. $2.99 per week gets you access to all the content we produce for all the sports we cover, our members only Slack Chat, and exclusive Fanball bonuses.
