Klay Thompson Scores 22 Points On 20 Shots

Golden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson's 22 points were not enough in the Game 5 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday. Thompson rattled in nine of his 20 shot attempts and added three rebounds with a couple of assists and was a minus-13 in his 37 minutes of action. Thompson is averaging just 19.0 points a game in the five games thus far this series and it has nothing to do with inefficiencies as he shooting a respectable 48.7% from the floor. Thompson has yet to really go off in this series, and the Warriors may hope he erupts in Game 6 to close out the series.

Lou Williams Erupts For 33 Points In Game 5

Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams led the charge in Game 5 when he came off the bench to score 33 points to help secure the win over the Warriors on Wednesday. William was efficient as he drained 12 of 19 shots and added 10 dimes with four rebounds but did have five turnovers en route to the win. For the Clippers to extend this series to a seventh game, they are going to need Williams to work his magic once again on Friday when the series shifts back to Los Angeles.

Montrezl Harrell Provides Big Line Off The Bench In Game 5

Los Angeles Clippers power forward/center Montrezl Harrell provided an efficient 24 points on Wednesday as he connected on 11 of 14 shooting to help extend the series. Harrell grabbed five rebounds with two assists and added a block with just a single turnover on Wednesday night. Harrell was again Mr. Energy off the pine and the timing of this big night could not have come at a better time. Harrell will look to continue his excellent play on Friday when the Clips look to get the Game 6 win back in Los Angeles.
