Exactly zero people are surprised. This really opens the door more for speedster Robert Foster and Zay Jones (who has a great slot matchup this week against the Jets)
Conner to miss week 14
The timing couldn’t be worse. Conner owners who let out a collective gasp when he left the field on Sunday, with what was being called a contusion at the time, had their fear come to life. He will miss at least this weeks game and we will have to pray that’s it. Rookie Jaylen Samuels should get the bulk of the work with Steven Ridley mixed in.
Colt fractures Fibula
It was a short lived stay as the starting quarterback of the Washington Resskins as McCoy fractured his fibula on a play where he took off running on Monday night. He will be out for the season which is better than what is usually done to a colt that breaks their leg. Next up Mark Sanchez. You read that correctly.
Green to have season ending surgery
He came back to the joy of fantasy owners and quickly exited with an injury. Green now will have season ending surgery on torn ligaments in his toe. He’s expected to be out 3-4 months. And his owners are expected to be eliminated from the playoffs.
West signs with Chiefs
Charcandrick West has signed on with the Chiefs once again. He likely figures to share the workload with Spencer Ware going forward which will frustrate fantasy owners.
Allen a QB1
Right now Josh Allen is basically Lamar Jackson without the hype. He has 234 rushing yards in the last 2 games and has scored 4 rushing touchdowns this season. His passing numbers haven’t been good… but this week he had 231 yards and 2 touchdowns which makes him very viable as a streaming option when you add in the running potential.
Kirk to IR
Christian Kirk suffered a broken foot in yesterday’s game and now the Cardinals have placed him on IR. That’s a rough blow to an offense that needed every weapon they had
Phillip Lindsay has been one of the most electric players this season. That was on full display this weekend as Lindsay as he ran for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Bengals. He did this on just 19 carries.
Green in walking boot
AJ Green left Sunday’s game with a non-contact toe injury. He is now in a walking boot and his season may be in doubt.
Thompson should be back
Chris Thompson is finally off the injury report and set to make his return Monday night. Adrian Peterson is also off the injury report. Both should split touches on Monday night.
Adams now questionable
Josh Adams popped up with a hip injury today in practice and is now questionable for Monday night’s game. The Monday night start makes it really difficult to start him at this point. Darren Sproles is set to make his return, which also muddies the waters.
Kareem Hunt was released by the Chiefs after a video was released of him assaulting a woman in a hotel and he lied to the team about it. Spencer Ware and Damien Williams will take over RB duties going forward.
